The Laurier AKF karate club is a member of the Ohtsuka Amateur Karate Foundation. Previously located in Callingwood, the club has been located in Laurier Heights since 2017.

Our karate program is designed for all ages with no previous martial arts experience required. Classes feature vigorous physical workouts, lessons in technique, partner exercises, and practical self-defence instruction in a manner that is safe and  tailored to each age group. Youth and Adult classes may also feature grappling and weapons such as knives and bos.

Our black belt instructors are dedicated volunteers with significant martial arts knowledge and experience to share.
