Our volunteer Facilities Team ensures the smooth running and upkeep of the buildings and sporting facilities for the Laurier Heights Community League.
In 2020, the Laurier Heights Community League board began work on reducing C02 emissions and energy consumption by installing a solar panel project on the roof of the Laurier Heights Community League Hall. A total of 102 solar panels were installed and have now been connected to the grid (40.8 kW DC system size). This system will see an annual production of 38,189 kWh of energy and annual emissions reductions of 22 tCO2e.
