Celebrating 70 Years of Laurier Heights!

This year marks a major milestone as Laurier Heights celebrates its 70th anniversary, and we hope you'll join us for our upcoming Decades Dinner on June 26.

Neighbours past and present will gather to celebrate the people, places and stories that have shaped Laurier Heights over the past seven decades. It's a chance to reconnect with old friends, meet new neighbours, browse community memorabilia, and raise a glass to the community we all call home.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with dinner served at 7:00 p.m. Your ticket includes a catered dinner, commemorative stemless wine glass, and one complimentary beverage. Tickets are limited, so be sure to secure yours before they sell out.

As part of our anniversary celebrations, we are also collecting photos and stories from the past 70 years of Laurier Heights. Whether it's a snapshot from a community event, a memorable neighbourhood moment, or a story about life in Laurier Heights, we'd love to help preserve and share our community's history. Keep the Celebrations Going All Weekend

The fun continues after the Decades Dinner! Join us on Saturday, June 27 for Party in the Park from 2:00 p.m. until late. Enjoy antique cars*, food trucks, drinks in the LHCL Sip Yard, line dancing, live music, and more.

Then, on Sunday, June 28 at 3:00 p.m., join us for the Yorath House & Sir Wilfrid Laurier Park Walk, beginning at Yorath House and exploring a little of the history that helped shape our community.

*All vintage cars (and their drivers) welcome to participate! Cars will cruise through the neighbourhood and then park for showing in the Community Hall parking lot. To join the parade, contact events@lhcl.ca
